In this project, we reinterpreted Vincent van Gogh’s The Starry Night, using acrylic paints. Swirling strokes and layered textures convey the movement and mood of the night sky while leaving room for individual expression. 

Acrylics gave students the perfect balance of bold colour and fluid movement, which was ideal for blending and control.

This project pays homage to Van Gogh’s swirling, emotive style while letting students explore freely with their own creative voice.
