After reading The Nutcracker as a class, students created their own artwork inspired by the characters from the story. They chose to create either a nutcracker or the Sugar Plum Fairy.
Students added their own details, such as outfit trim, buttons, colours, and accessories to make each piece unique. This project encouraged experimentation with materials, fine-motor skills, while helping students connect their work to the story we explored in class.
