Thank you for visiting this space! I have a passion for integrating the visual arts in my classroom to spark curiosity, creativity, and student engagement.
My journey in arts education began at the International School of Geneva, Switzerland, an experience that continues to influence my aesthetic and instructional approach. I've since taught Grades 1–6 and middle school art.
During my years as a Visual Arts Program Consultant with the Toronto District School Board, I collaborated with professional artists and schools across the district on exciting initiatives such as the Pan Am Games Art Exhibition.
My early academic background includes a semester abroad studying Renaissance Art in Tuscany. I’ve also had the opportunity to lead teacher professional development in Grenada and Kenya, and have travelled to 63 countries.
These global experiences inform my teaching practice and enrich the artistic projects and perspectives I bring into the classroom.
